AHILA Data Workshop 2023 Session 3: Establishing Context - Setting the Stage

This session focuses on putting this workshop in the context of data-driven health, existing and potential partnerships and collaborations, and National Research and Education Networks (NRENs). An introduction to the NIH Common Fund Initiative's Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation in Africa (DS-I Africa) program is provided, as well as the goals, structure, coordinating center, activities, and data infrastructure resources available via the eLwazi Open Data Science Platform.
