Team Assembly

Dataset

Description

The overall purpose of this model code is to illustrate how the behavior of individuals in assembling small teams for short-term projects can give rise to a variety of large-scale network structures over time. It is based on the team assembly model presented in an article titled "Team assembly mechanisms determine collaboration network structure and team performance" published by Guimera et al. in Science in 2005. This model is based on the publication referenced below, whose code has already been created by others and is already available in the NetLogo library (referenced below), and now it is also archived here. - The paper: Guimera, R., Uzzi, B., Spiro, J., Amaral, L.A.N., 2005.
