Research Interests
My research interests focus on understanding the basis of structural and functional deficits in patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and atypical Parkinsonism. The goal of my research is to develop advanced structural and functional MRI techniques along with Deep Learning models in order to identify changes in brain morphology and function in these patients. I use this information in order to develop improvements in early detection, differential diagnosis, tracking of longitudinal changes and treatment interventions.
