Cardiac electrophysiology, in particular the mechanisms, monitoring and automatic diagnosis and treatment of the atrial cardiac arrhythmias. Irreversible electroporation methods for ablating cancerous tumors including non-resectable liver and pancreatic cancer. RF ablation for establishing cancer-free post-lumpectomy margins. Non-contact vital signs monitoring using millimeter-wave and other remote sensing methods. Beyond-CMOS logic realizations including spintronics, magneto-resistive devices and circuits and all-carbon logic.
