Foot and Ankle Trauma, Reconstruction, and Arthritis. Revision Surgery. Tendon Transfers for Foot Drop The focus of the Foot and Ankle Division is to provide patients with the highest quality of care – both non-surgical and surgical for conditions that affect the foot and ankle. Dr. Kadakia has also had the honor of being a guest professor and performing surgery in Chongqing, China. Recently he has been asked to become the Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Research and additionally is engaged in writing his own book on how to effectively perform surgery on the foot and ankle. Dr. Kadakia employs what he researches to be the most effective orthopedic treatment modalities, both nonoperative and surgical to improve the function and pain of his patients. He believes in advancing the field of foot and ankle orthopedic surgery and has been on the forefront of developing new surgical techniques to help improve the quality of care that surgeons are able to deliver.
