Research Interests
My clinical interests include Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonian syndromes, tremors, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, Wilson’s disease, tic disorders, psychogenic movement disorders and gait disorders. I perform botulinum toxin injections, assessments for DBS (deep-brain stimulation), and I am involved in several clinical trials for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. I am interested in the importance of a holistic approach to health and wellness and have conducted studies on complementary and integrative medicine as well. I am the director of the multi-disciplinary Huntington's disease clinic and Wilson's disease clinic. I am also the program director for the neurology residency program.
