Personal profile

Research Interests

I have been the PI for several federal and foundation funded studies developing and evaluating the effectiveness of evidence-based approaches and system level healthcare delivery interventions spanning several high priority contexts and populations: pediatrics; neonatology; ambulatory care; chronic disease care; surgical safety; and transplantation. I have a broad background and demonstrated leadership in research focused on assessment and improvement of both healthcare processes and outcomes and with specific training and expertise in key research areas including: research design and management, complex intervention implementation, system and process redesign, data collection and analyses, healthcare communications, and effective medical teamwork principles.
