Dr. Powell is interested in injury epidemiology and prevention, and in emergency care delivery to children. She is the Lurie Children's Hospital Primary Investigator for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN), a multicenter collaborative to conduct pediatric emergency care research.
Dr. Powell is an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
