Research Interests
My interest is in the study of the biology of the alveolar epithelium as well as the mechanisms that regulate sodium transport in alveolar epithelial cells. I am also interested in studying the mechanisms by which some respiratory diseases are accompanied of muscle dysfunction and the possible role that microRNAs play in it.
