Research Interests
Professor Yuen's current focus in on quantum and classical cryptography, physics based and also pure mathematics based. He continues to develop his previous KCQ (keyed communication in quantum noise approach) approach, versions of which have been implemented in the US and Japan. He introduced a new technique DBM (decoy bits method) on which patent appliction has been filed, but the details of which are yet to be released.
