Research Interests
Jacky Kruser, MD MS is a Pulmonologist and Critical Care Physician who primarily practices in the adult Medical Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, followed by medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She was a resident in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin. She then pursued a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Kruser is also a researcher with a master’s degree in Health Services and Outcomes Research from Northwestern University. She has expertise in chronic critical illness, end-of-life care in the intensive care unit, and the long-term sequelae of critical illness. Dr. Kruser's clinical focus is adult critical care, including acute respiratory distress syndrome, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, critical care ultrasound, and management of pain, agitation, and delirium in the intensive care unit.
