Personal profile
Research Interests
My research interests are in the relationship between diet and cancer, particularly focusing on elucidating the role of dietary iron on inflammation-driven carcinogenesis in a molecular mimicking model of ulcerative colitis associated carcinogenesis in IL-2 deficient mice. I am also working on developing efficient chemopreventive agents in the inhibition of ulcerative colitis associated carcinogenesis. I am particularly interested in dietary nutrients, antioxidants, and green tea.
