Research Interests

I am a clinical trialist / study design specialist; my research interests include clinical study design and conduct, database development and data (quality) monitoring, interim monitoring / reporting / analyses, randomization and treatment allocation techniques (including cluster-randomization allocation techniques), and clinical trial data analyses. My applied / collaborative research focuses on clinical studies applied to a wide range of disorders, diseases, and populations including those in the fields of perinatal depression, mood disorders, internal medicine and geriatrics, gastroenterology, and pediatrics. I also teach in the MS-Biostatistics program which includes: directing the concentration for Statistical Methods and Practice, coordinating the thesis efforts and corresponding thesis course, and teaching the clinical database management course.
