Dr. Stevens is a graduate of Rush University College ofNursing (MS, 81) and Loyola University Chicago (PhD, 2005) Dr Stevens has worked in the field ofrehabilitation at the Instituteb of Rehabilitation Medicineat NYU, Rehabilitation Insitute of Chicago and Sirley RyanAbilityLab. She is a past president and board member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses.
