Kavita S. Hodgkins, MD, MSCI, is a Board Certified Pediatric Nephrologist and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She practices as an Attending Physician in the outpatient clinics of Lurie Children's Hospital and also serves as the Director of Resident and Medical Student Education for the Division of Kidney Diseases. She has a joint position with the Urology Division at Lurie Children's Hospital and works closely with the Urology Division to provide cohesive care for patients with chronic kidney disease associated with abnormal development of the urinary tract. In addition, she is the Program Director for the Bladder Function Improvement Training (BFIT) clinic, focusing on the diagnosis and management of voiding dysfunction.
Kidney function assessment and trends in patients with neurogenic bladder/urologic anomalies
Chronic kidney disease and kidney injury surveillance and management in the setting of urologic disorders, including abnormalities of the development and structure of the kidneys, ureter, bladder, and urethra. Management of lower urinary tract dysfunction in children.
