Research Interests

I am interested in creating early warning tools that identify changes in the patient condition using real time analytics. Specifically, I am investigating how changes in autonomic function influencing patient vital signs can be analyzed and used to predict patient decompensation as well as response to therapy. One specific area of interest is to use these tools to identify patients at risk for pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome sooner in order to allow earlier intervention to improve patient outcomes.
