Research Interests

I am the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Prentice Women’s Hospital – Northwestern Medicine. I am the Neonatal Co-Lead of the Illinois Perinatal Quality Collaborative. I am also an active clinical physician with a longstanding medical educational track record at the undergraduate and graduate levels; including leadership, teaching, simulation, and curricula development. Additional interests include neonatal quality improvement and patient safety and curricular development in this area.

My academic focus includes medical education and healthcare safety and quality improvement.

My clinical focus includes the care of critically ill neonates.
