Research Interests

I have completed training in internal medicine, adult cardiovascular disease, and adult congenital cardiology. In addition, I have advanced training in echocardiography. I have experience in caring for patients in their teens, pregnant women, as well as the elderly with a wide range of cardiovascular disease. I am fortunate to have experience in working with multidisciplinary teams at both adult and children's hospital in caring for patients with structural heart disease. I was the Co-Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center prior to moving to Chicago in 2016. At present, I am the Medical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and have clinical responsibilities at Lurie and Northwestern Memorial Hospitals and see patients throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
