Research Interests

I am the Director of Endourology and Stone Disease for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System Division of Urology. I received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois graduating with Summa Cum Laude distinction and went on to receive a medical degree from the University of Chicago. After medical school, I trained in general surgery and completed Urology residency at the University of Chicago. I am particularly interested in the management of complicated stone disease using minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques. In addition, I am committed to the evaluation and prevention of further stone formation. I am the Director of the Interdisciplinary Stone Clinic for the Cook County Health & Hospitals System, a clinic with urology, nephrology, and dietary resources to help prevent urolithiasis.
