Research Interests

I am a pediatric neurologist with a clinical focus on neurological disorders in infants and children specifically epilepsy. My interests are in the evaluation of children with drug resistant epilepsy for epilepsy surgery and treatment of children with tuberous sclerosis.

My main focus of academic research is 1. in finding new therapies for epilepsy specifically for patients with tuberous sclerosis 2.evaluation of patients for surgical treatment for epilepsy and minimizing time lag to surgery 3.training residents, fellows and technicians in EEG analysis 4. Understanding natural histories of childhood epilepsies

Evaluation and treatment of infants and children with intractable epilepsy, potential curative options with epilepsy surgery and developing a multidisciplinary team of specialists for children with tuberous sclerosis.
