Dr. Bercovitz is triple boarded in general pediatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology, and transfusion medicine.

Dr. Bercovitz is interested in improving anticoagulation and bleeding management in children with complex heart disease who require extracorporeal circulatory support such as ECMO, VADs, or cardiopulmonary bypass.

While Dr. Bercovitz sees patients with a variety of childhood hematologic disoders, her main focus is on patients with bleeding disorders: hemophilia and other factor deficiencies, von Willebrand Disease, and qualitative and quantitative platelet disorders.
