Personal profile

Research Interests

My clinical interest is in Urgent Care/Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I am also involved in quality and process improvement as well as urgent care research.

I am involved in process and quality improvement projects aimed at improving the efficiency and flow of the Emergency Department as well as delivering high-quality care. In addition, I am part of a national Urgent Care Research Group that is evaluating data and trends specific to the Urgent Care setting.

My clinical role is a general pediatrician in an academic Emergency Department. I strive to deliver high-quality care to patients of various acuity levels. A large part of my clinical role includes the education of trainees, specifically Feinberg MS3 and MS4 students as well as Lurie residents.
