Research Interests
Clinical expertise: pain management. Populations include Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (also known as RSD), Fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, pain in older patients, pain in rehabilitation diagnoses, Myofascial Pain Syndrome and headache. Research: primarily focused on the study of Post Amputation Pain, Spinal Cord Injury pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndromes, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, osteoarthritis and headaches. The Center for Pain Studies under his direction conducts pharmacological trials, outcomes development and validation and Model validation.
