Research Interests

Sangeeta Schroeder, M.D., Masters in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Associate Medical Director of the Center for Excellence at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She leads numerous Quality and Safety initiatives, including Hospital Acquired Conditions reduction and Evidence Informed Practice creation. She has presented her work at national forums including the Society of Hospital Medicine, Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Pediatric Academic Society Conferences. She also directs the education of Healthcare Quality and Safety at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.

My academic focus is in the use of quality improvement science to drive harm reduction and evidence based practice.
