Professor Mehrotra is an expert in methodologies for decision making under uncertainty and its applications to problems in Health Systems Engineering and other Operations Research applications.
His current optimization methodology research focus is in the area of Optimization under Uncertainty, with a focus on Distributionally-Robust risk-based optimization. His healthcare systems engineering work includes policy and operations modeling, using modern operations research tools.
