Personal profile
Research Interests
As the medical director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, I join forces with Infectious Disease pharmacists and the other hospital epidemiologists here at NMH. Our mission is to provide education, policy, and research that helps prescribers use antibiotics wisely. As an infectious disease physician, I care for a wide range of patients, particularly women with HIV. With maternal fetal medicine specialists and the NMH ID Clinic staff, I care for pregnant women with HIV infection. Our shared goals are to reduce maternal to child HIV transmission and to empower HIV-infected women to take excellent care of their health throughout their lives.
