Research Interests

My research interests are focused on the evaluation and utilization of novel biomarkers in pediatric cardiovascular and kidney diseases, including disorders associated with cardiorenal syndrome. Clinically, I am interested in the development and validation of liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) assays, in projects related to access to/utilization of laboratory services and also in process improvement (e.g., lean six sigma) for clinical laboratory operations.
