Research Interests
Dr. Sharon Unti is the Director of the Pediatric Residency Program for Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine based at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. In this role, she has overall accountability for the residency program including administering and maintaining a learning environment conducive to educating residents as it relates to all ACGME competencies, ensuring the quality of resident didactic and clinical education, monitoring resident performance, evaluating teaching faculty, and providing resident guidance and career mentoring.
Dr. Sharon Unti's academic focus and interests include both graduate and undergraduate medical education, particularly curriculum design, competency assessment and evaluation processes, and mentorship.
Dr. Sharon Unti maintains a general pediatric practice and precepts pediatric residents in their outpatient continuity clinic.
