Dr. Lautz is an academic pediatric general surgeon who specializes in the care of children with cancer. He is an active member of the Children's Oncology Group where he serves on the Soft Tissue Sarcoma Committee, as well as the American Pediatric Surgical Association, where he sits on the Cancer Committee. In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr Lautz is a productive clinical researcher. He has an expertise in utilizing large national databases to analyze clinical outcomes in children with common surgical conditions. His clinical research is focused on outcomes in children with cancer.
