Research Interests
I carry out clinical and basic research related to dizziness and hearing loss. My current clinical research mainly concerns cervical vertigo. Clinically, I am the "dizzy doctor" at Northwestern, and see a large array of patients with inner ear disorders as well as more obscure and complex problems. For example, did you know that some people can develop "land sickness" after a cruise, that can last for years ? Or that dizziness with migraine is most common in the 50-60 age group, mainly women who are perimenopausal.
