Personal profile

Research Interests

Clinically, I am interested in early detection and early treatment of emerging psychotic disorders to protect cognition and prevent disability. My primary research interest interest is in biological markers of neuropsychiatric conditions, especially anatomical and neurocognitive endophenotypes of severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. Recent projects have used structural magnetic resonance imaging to correlate cognitive performance and symptoms with anatomical changes. Ongoing projects include longitudinal studies of subjects at risk for developing schizophrenia and clinical research into strategies for enhancing cognition in schizophrenia.
