Research Interests
Professor Qu is broadly interested in how sociocultural contexts shape adolescents. My research brings together survey, observational, experimental, and neuroimaging methods, aiming to examine 1) what psychological and neural mechanisms underlie cultural differences in adolescents’ academic, social, and emotional development, and 2) how parents influence adolescents’ beliefs and brain, with the implications for learning and psychological adjustment.
