Epigenetics of Cardiovascular Health Metrics

This Center proposal is uniquely responsive to the RFA’s call for innovation in research and training to address the AHA 2020 goal of improving CVH of all Americans, specifically including primordial prevention to avert and reverse the loss of ideal CVH shown to occur beginning in childhood and adolescence and continuing throughout adulthood. The institution and investigators are highly respected, recognized leaders in the field and have high probability of competing successfully for award of a Center grant under this RFA.
