Achieving Closed-loop RNA-based PID Control with a Cell-free Testbed

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Professor Lucks will lead the team responsible for engineering RNA gene regulatory devices that will be used to construct proportional, derivative and integral gene expression controllers that function in cell free transcription translation systems. The work will entail typical molecular biology experiments performed in the Lucks Laboratory. Professor Lucks will oversee two postdoctoral researchers to perform this work which will entail performing experiments, analyzing data and preparing materials for project communications, publications and grant reports.
