The NU CRS’s Personnel protocol fund allocation is detailed below. The allocation is comprised of the following components: • Continuing participant reimbursements – this component is comprised of continuing participants on protocols or in follow up during year 15. This calculation is based on current enrollment on studies (as of July, 2020) for any participants expected to continue follow up during the period covered in Year 15. • Continuing-New/Gap participant reimbursements – this component is comprised of participants still to be accrued in Year 14 (during July through November, 2020) who will remain on protocol or in follow-up in Year 15. We based projections for the likely total accrual during July-November on TSG input and evenly allocated slots across sites. • New participant reimbursements – this component is comprised of participants expected to be accrued to ACTG protocols during Year 15. As described above, funds for new participant enrollment and visit costs were allocated based on the numbers of participants TSGs expected sites to enroll into ongoing and planned studies.
