Description
Energy scheduling and planning problems can be formulated as different types of optimization problems that involve continuous as well as discrete variables. The variable load and resources (e.g. renewable energy) introduce the uncertainty into the complex energy systems, which require optimization-based decisions that are to survive in a stochastic environment. Changhyeok Lee and the PI model the uncertainty through a deterministic set such as box, polyherdron or ellipsoid and analyze the robust decisions that are immune to any scenario of the uncertain factors.
