Advancing Understanding of the Diagnosis and Management of Childhood Food Allergy among Medicaid Enrolled Children

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The proposed study will fill the gap in our understanding by analyzing patters of diagnosis and treatment among children with food allergy insured through the Medicaid program. We will analyze two years of Medicaid claims data for U.S. children to describe the prevalence of food allergy and indicators of quality care adherent to clinical guidelines. We will also analyze the country-level hot spot maps to advance our understanding of the geographic disparities in care.
