Description
Research in Dr. Ramsey-Goldman's laboratory lie primarily in understanding the long-term consequences of systemic lupus erythematosus. Their work is focused on assessing the risks of developing cancer, osteoporosis or cardiovascular complications in patients with the condition.
Through national and international collaborations, the research team conducts studies involving genetic risk factors for disease susceptibility and severity in lupus. In addition, Dr. Ramsey-Goldman designs, monitors and performs clinical trials testing innovative therapies for patients.
