Altering Activation Patterns in the Distal Upper Extremity After Stroke

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

I will participate in the development of the experimental protocols, in the analysis of the data and in the dissemination of results. In particular, my participation will be focused to the studies under Aim 2: Quantify the increase in the activation workspace achieved with training of muscle activation patterns relative to the increase obtained with practice of specific tasks. I will consult regularly with the PI Dr. Derek Kamper and the other team members to combine the experience in motor learning with the background in motor rehabilitation of hand function.
