Description
Task 1) Develop Aspen Simulations of Processes to Make Platform Biochemicals
Use Apsen to develop process simulations of bio-based processes to make 5-10 platform chemicals.
Task 2) Develop Aspen simulations of Processes to Make Bioproducts
Use Apsen to develop process simulations of processes to make 5-10 bioproduts from platform chemicals.
Task 3) Develop Aspen Simulations of Processes to Make Conventional Products
Use Apsen to develop process simulations of 5-10 processes to make conventional products that would be displaced by bio-products.
Task 4) Documentation
Document approach to Aspen simulations conducted at NWU and develop stream tables and other figures as necessary for technical report.
