Highly-Accelerated Non-Gated Cine MRI for Assessment of Cardiac Function in A-Fib

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

The primary goals of this project this are to develop a rapid ungated cardiac cine MRI method and then evaluate its performance in patients with atrial fibrillation. Dr. Lin will be the local principal investigator at Northwestern University. We will apply the optimal MRI protocol that Dr. Kim has developed for Aim 2 to 28 patients at Northwestern who have been imaged with clinical echocardiography. Echocardiography will serve as the reference standard.
