BME-IDEA Africa 2019

We propose a 1 or 1.5 day planning workshop in October 2019 in alliance with the African Biomedical Engineering Consortium (ABEC) for biomedical engineering faculty representing the majority of BME programs in Africa. The aims of the workshop will be aligned with ABEC’s mission to “promote innovation and entrepreneurship in healthcare infrastructure and technologies for improved healthcare outcomes in Africa,” and as such it is a natural host for a Venturewell. Final decisions on scheduling and priority for sessions will be decided by the Planning Committee.
