Bridging gaps in healthcare services for new families due to COVID-19

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

We plan to leverage 1) an existing app, NICU2HOME, with strong evidence of parental engagement in the perinatal setting along with 2) an established perinatal CC program, COMPASS, to generate Baby2Home, a health systems intervention to improve health for mothers, fathers, and infants over the first year of life. We propose to analyze, via a randomized clinical trial, the impact of Baby2Home on parental and infant healthcare utilization, PROs, and health disparities compared to usual care.
