Description
The Kellogg School of Management respectfully submits this proposal for a three-year grant in the amount of $475,000 which will support Kellogg’s work in building the professionalization of the field of impact investing from an academic perspective. This field-building work is to include: 1) The hosting of the annual Impact & Sustainable Finance Global Faculty Convening; 2) Leadership of the Impact & Sustainable Finance Faculty Consortium including the administration of small collaboration grants; 3) The Sustainable Investing Challenge; 4) Creation of deliverables including thought leadership writings and publications. These four aspects of Kellogg’s field-building work are designed to support continued growth in the academic aspects of the impact finance sector and to spur the inspiration and preparation of next-generation impact investing talent across universities and around the world. By providing faculty with the community, funding and content they need, students with the opportunity to innovate and engage, and the field the writing and thought-leadership spurring from these efforts, Kellogg and The Rockefeller Foundation can substantively fuel the continued growth of the field, it’s instructors, researchers, and future leaders.
