Description

This grant aims to launch the Geriatric Emergency care Applied Research (GEAR) Network and facilitate the framing and building of a research infrastructure for interdisciplinary aging studies focused on geriatric emergency medicine. This R33 phase follows the R21 phase and will integrate and test best practices in outpatient and inpatient geriatric care in/to the ED setting, and facilitate future multi-center proposals and applications for pragmatic trials or other prospective interdisciplinary studies in geriatric emergency care.
