Project Details
Description
The goal of this proposed multi-omics project is the identification of associations between genetic variants and mRNA, short- and long noncoding RNA expression in human cardiac tissue and in extracellular RNA in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. We will use high-throughput methods such as whole genome genotyping and next generation RNA sequencing.
