Description
Northwestern University will be responsible for directing and conducting human subject testing for the purpose of collecting gait data on able-bodied individuals and those with lower limb amputation using the prototype prosthetic knee. These responsibilities include recruiting subjects for testing, confirming that subjects satisfy the recruitment criteria, scheduling subjects for data collection, arranging subject compensation, clinical fitting of the prototype prosthesis, obtaining subject informed consent, maintaining and operating the motion analysis laboratory equipment, ordering laboratory supplies, and the collection, processing, analysis and consolidation of human subject data.
