Catalytic Kinetics and Mechanisms in Phosphorus Recycling from Ribonucleotide Structures by Iron Oxide Minerals

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Here the research goal is to obtain a molecular-scale understanding of the kinetic and mechanistic controls in the catalytic recycling of phosphorus from purine- and pyrimidine-based ribonucleotide structures reacted with iron (oxyhydr)oxide minerals of different types (ferrihydrite, goethite, and hematite).
