Project Details
Description
Northwestern PIs will perform scientific research including modeling of electronic structures and computation of thermodynamic and kinetic parameters for selective separations (Schatz), and developing green and economic recovery of platinum-group metals using the chemical principle of second-sphere coordination (Stoddart). The work will be performed with the assistance of two fractional graduate students, as outlined in the budget, using facilities available at Northwestern.
