Center for Innovation in Technology

This proposal seeks funding to extend the Lab’s impact and continue the achievement of the following goals through cross-functional teamwork; fellowships and stipends for graduate students and visiting scholars; and the support of off- and on-campus events, instruction and training: • Educate students in how to be true innovators in news and information, with deep understanding of technology and the information needs of audiences. • Create systems and tools for journalists that streamline and enrich the tasks of newsgathering, creation and delivery. • Develop new technologies for the creation, production, and distribution of news content that meets emerging needs.
